May 9th - May 13th

**This week is full of different events for 4th grade. Monday afternoon we will take a Bulleying survey. Tuesday we will have our program for Super Speller. The students will receive their prizes for collecting donations for the American Lung Association. Kick Butts Day will be on Thursday. Students from the high school will visit us to tell us about the dangers of smoking. On Friday we will have a guidance lesson with Ms. Prushinski.

• Begin reading our new story, Jim Thorpe, and study the vocabulary words.


• Review our grammar lesson and complete the workbook pages.


• Study the final set of vocabulary olympics words #61-73 for the next quiz.


• Complete the spelling workbook pages and study the new words for the week.


• Complete the math lessons assigned this week. Continue to study your facts and practice the concepts learned this week.

****Next week our field trip is on Monday. Be at the school for 7 am. The bus will be leaving by 7:15 am. If you are not getting a lunch from the cafeteria, please remember to bring your lunch that day.

*****Practice for beginner band is on Tuesday next week, and all day chorus practice will be Wednesday. The Spring Concert will be held Wednesday May 18th at 7 pm at the high school auditorium.

*****Students will go to the high school next Thursday May 19th to listen to the chorus concert.

*****Next Friday, May 20th will be the 4th grade picnic.
