Week of November 7

**Friday is an ACT 80 day. There is no school for students on that day. Don't forget to take time to remember the sacrifices our veterans have made for our freedom.


**Remember to return the bottom of your report card with a parent's signature as soon as you can.

• Our new story is Marven of the Great North Woods. Read it throughout the week and practice the vocabulary words nightly. Check your homework book for assignments this week.


• Practice grammar during the week.


• In science, review your investigation worksheets and vocabulary.


• Study for the new spelling list for a pre-test Monday. Complete the workbook pages nightly if you do not get a 100% on the pre-test.


• Complete math lessons nightly and study for the test on Thursday.


• Study the new prefixes, suffixes, and root words for a test next week. There is no VO test this week. Study each night so you are ready for next week.
