March 19-March 23

*Last day of PSSA testing will be on Monday March 19th.  Congratulations on doing your best on the test!  Normal classes and schedules resume on Tuesday.

Assignments this week:

• We will be reading Encyclopedia Brown this week.  Study the vocabulary and reread the story for a test on Friday.  Answer the Reader Response questions on page 501 Thursday night to help review for the test.
• We will be learning about contractions in Grammar.  Complete pages 164 and 165 on Tuesday night.
• In science, study for a quiz on electricity which will be on Tuesday.
• The 3rd nine week's vocabulary olymnpics test will be on Wednesday.  Study all given words for the test.
• Study #1-25 of the Super speller list for the test on Wednesday.
• Complete math lessons nightly.  There will not be a test this week.
• Spelling pretest on Tuesday.  Complete workbook pages nightly.  The pre-test will be Thursday and the final test Friday.
