Assignments for the week:
- Reading test on What Jo Did is on Tuesday. Review the vocabulary words and the scavenger hunt for the test. We will begin a new story later in the week. It is titled Coyote School News. Wednesday night students will have to write the vocab words for this new story in sentences. These should be written in their notebooks. The test on this story will be next week. We will also be working on poems this week. Check the assignment book to see if there is any homework for the poems.
- In Grammar, we will be learning about plural nouns. There will be workbook pages assigned this week. Please check the assignment book to see what nights pages 25 and 26 need to be completed. The test will be on Monday.
- In math we will be completing lessons 26 - 30. There will not be a test this week. Continue to review addition and subtraction facts.
- Spelling workbook pages will be assigned nightly. Please review your words for the pre-test on Thursday and the final test on Friday. Monday night any missed words from the pre-test must be written 3 times each. Corrections from Thursday's pre-test must be written 5 times each.
- Vocabulary Olympics quiz on Friday on words 88-100. Continue to review 1-100 also. The nine week's test will be next Tuesday.
