Assignments this week:
- Test Monday on "How Night Came from the Sea." Study vocabulary and re-read the story. Our new story is "Eye of the Storm." Study that vocab and re-read that story during the week.
- Find the names of the last 5 hurricanes. Also, find out if there has ever been a hurricane with your name. Information is due next Tuesday.
- Grammar test on Monday on subject-verb agreement.
- Quiz Wednesday in science on magnets. Look over the study guides given to you in class.
- Complete nightly math lessons and review for the test on Friday. Remember to review your multiplication and division facts.
- Spelling pre-test on Monday. Complete workbook pages nightly and study for the pre-test on Thursday. Final test will be on Friday.
- Vocabulary quiz on Friday on #s 88-100. 2nd marking period test will be next Tuesday January 17th. Study all prefixes, suffixes, root words, and words.
