ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE WEEK:
- In math we will continue with Lessons 3, 4, and 5. Whatever work is not finished in school must be completed for homework.
- We will start spelling this week. Complete daily assignments listed in your assignment book. There will be a pre-test on Thursday and the final test will be on Friday.
- We will also begin Vocabulary Olympics this week. This is new to 4th grade. Students should study prefixes nightly to prepare for the quiz nextr Monday.
- On Wednesday, there will be a quiz on declarative and interrogative sentences. Declarative sentences tell you something and end in a period. Interrogative sentences ask a questionn and end in a question mark.
- We will finish Winn-Dixie this week and have a test on Thursday. Review vocabulary words that are listed on the white paper in your red folder. Also study the study guide that you will be given. There will also be a writing assingment on Thursday night. Follow directions in the assignment book. On Friday we will watch the movie, "Because of Winn-Dixie."
